Project: Whiskey Barrel Composite

Objective:
To create a premium product hero image by compositing multiple photographic elements into a cohesive, high-impact visual suitable for advertising or brand marketing.

Before Images:

  1. Background (Image 1):
A dark warehouse filled with stacked wooden whiskey barrels, providing a rich and atmospheric backdrop that evokes heritage and craftsmanship.

  2. Foreground Prop (Image 2):
A standalone whiskey barrel top shot under studio lighting. This was isolated and positioned to serve as the foreground surface for the product placement.

  3. Product Bottle (Image 3):
A clean, well-lit studio photograph of a Jack Daniel’s 100 Tennessee Whiskey bottle with a transparent or white background, ideal for compositing.

Final Composite:

The whiskey barrel from Image 2 was seamlessly placed in front of the barrel rack from Image 1, creating spatial depth and visual hierarchy.

The Jack Daniel’s bottle from Image 3 was carefully integrated onto the barrel surface, maintaining correct perspective, lighting direction, and scale.

Additional post-production enhancements were applied:

Spotlight Effect: A subtle spotlight was added to draw focus to the product, adding drama and a premium aesthetic.

Color Grading: Warm tones were enriched in the barrel wood and the bottle to harmonize the elements and enhance the overall mood.

Shadow & Reflection Work: Realistic shadowing was applied beneath the bottle to anchor it naturally onto the barrel surface.

Result:
A compelling composite image that successfully merges multiple elements into a professional, product-centric visual, ideal for advertising, packaging, or print collateral.
